Alison Pill
Pill started her career in Canada, but it was only a few years later Pill made her debut on the American film industry. Bruce Gray starred on an episode on the Canadian show Traders. Pill managed to get the role of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would have, Can, Shoulda" co-written by Naren Shankar, and starring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill's performance as a character in Picard was then followed by an important supporting part as "Katie" In Devs. The series is produced in collaboration with FX Productions on Hulu and hosted by the digital VFX firm Double Negative, featured her for all of the episodes. The similarity with Picard was not just a coincidence. In this same year, primary theme of the series was around the ability to keep consciousness in an artificial structure. The same was true in the case of Data as well.
